YMCA Camp Lyndon, Sandwich, MA

About this project:
The YMCA Cape Cod's Camp Lyndon occupies 75 acres of pine woods with a secluded freshwater lake front in the three ponds area of Sandwich, MA. For the past 25 years, Camp Lyndon has served as the center of many important YMCA programs for youth and families and offers a range of outdoor camping and recreational activities to the local Cape Cod community. Recently faced with erosion control issues, the YMCA began a program of wetland buffer zone enhancements and stormwater drainage upgrades. In addition, a beach nourishment program is planned along with other site improvements to the camp facilities.

Coastal Engineering's services included:

• Topographic and boundary surveys
• Civil engineering design and plan preparation
• Environmental permitting.
